Shane Silver, MD, FRCPC

Dr. Shane Silver is a board certified dermatologist. He received his medical degree from the University of Manitoba, followed by a dermatology residency at the University of British Columbia. He has an appointment with the University of Manitoba and teaches both medical students and residents. Published in peer-reviewed textbooks and journals, Dr. Silver also lectures at numerous continuing medical education events for physicians, and recently received the Educator of the Year Award. He has also been a Royal College examiner for five years. Dr. Silvers’s goal is to provide excellence in dermatologic care for his patients – made possible by opening the state-of-the-art Academy Skin Centre.
